Putter Fitting

Putter length and lie get chosen off a height chart more often than any other club in the bag, and it shows in how many putters we see with the wrong specs entirely. We fit off your actual stroke arc and posture instead.

Length Comes From Posture, Not Height

Two players of the same height can need noticeably different putter lengths depending on how they set up over the ball. We measure your eye line and posture directly rather than pulling length off a chart, since a putter that's even half an inch off can push your eyes outside the target line without you noticing.

Toe Hang and Face Balance

Your stroke arc — whether it's straight back and through or has a natural arc — should match the toe hang of your putter head. A face-balanced putter fights an arcing stroke, and a heavily toe-hung putter fights a straight-back stroke. We watch your stroke on our capture floor before recommending a head style.
